Headquartered in Shreveport, Louisiana, Valahé is owned and operated by Shawn Kilgarin, a Microbiology and Chemistry major with a passion for beautifying men’s skin.
History
It all began in 2001 when Shawn created top quality men’s bath and body products later to evolve as the area’s first botanical, all-natural men’s skin care line. Shawn was determined to perfect these products and sought every possible avenue to facilitate this need. Getting involved in the community and reaching out to friends and family, Shawn found her presence was effective and vital in helping shape Valahé’s future.
Accomplishments
- Shawn is on the advisory board of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce;
- Repeatedly a Diplomat of the Month, Shawn gets involved in charity events and continually receives local awards;
- Chair elect, Shawn is looking forward to serving as 2008 Program Chair for the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce.

A connoisseur of women’s skin care, Shawn quickly realized the need for a similar men’s product line that would truly benefit the condition and elasticity of her husband’s skin and men all over the world. After lots of research and late nights, Shawn created Valahé, an upscale approach to improving men’s skin, naturally.
